Lady Tigers remain winless

After dropping their first game in the Choctawhatchee Tournament and first game of the season Monday to start the year 0-1, the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers finished the tournament with an 0-3 record as they lost Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers started the tournament with a 61-12 loss to Mosley and on Tuesday lost to Bay High School 38-22 to fall to 0-2.
On Wednesday, the Lady Tigers played host Choctawhatchee and lost 56-10 to fall to 0-3.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Atmore.

In their game Tuesday against Bay High School, T.R. Miller lost by 16, 38-22.
The Lady Tigers trailed Bay 12-4 after the first quarter and 18-6 at the half following a 6-2 run by Bay in the second quarter.
In the third, the Lady Tigers were outscored 10-7 as Bay increased their lead to 28-13 heading into the final quarter of play.
In the fourth, Bay edged out the Lady Tigers 10-9 to get the win, 38-22.
Tempest Thompson led the Lady Tigers with 12 points while Sha Nicholson had four points. Lateysia Montgomery chipped in three points in the loss and Emonea Curry had two points.

In their final game of the tournament Wednesday against host Choctawhatchee, the Lady Tigers saw their offense stall as they fell by 46 points, 56-10.
Choctawhatchee jumped out to an early lead on the Lady Tigers by a score of 18-2 and held the Lady Tigers scoreless in the second quarter while scoring 14 of their own to extend their lead to 32-2 at the half.
In the third quarter, Choctawhatchee outscored the Lady Tigers 14-5 to increase their lead to 46-7. In the fourth, Choctawhatchee ended the game on a 10-3 run to get the big win.
Thompson led T.R. Miller with seven points while Montgomery had three.
