JDCC’s baseball and softball teams get wins

In their most recent two games, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks baseball team has gone 2-0 while the softball team went 1-1.
The baseball team defeated Bishop State twice Monday in Mobile as they defeated the Wildcats 3-1 in game one and 8-3 in game two.
The wins moved the Warhawks to 10-12 overall and to 5-3 in conference play.
In softball Tuesday in Enterprise, JDCC won game one 3-0 for their eighth straight win. But in game two, JDCC lost 9-0 in five innings to fall to 14-14 overall and to 1-1 in conference play.
No other stats or game information from the games were known as of press time.
JDCC’s baseball team is scheduled to travel to Enterprise on Thursday for a conference doubleheader. A nine-inning game will be played first followed by a seven-inning game. Game time is scheduled to begin at noon.
The two teams will follow the same format Saturday in Brewton.
The Lady Warhawks softball team is scheduled to have a makeup game with Bishop State on Thursday at home. Game times will be at 1 and 3 p.m.
The Lady Warhawks will travel to Montgomery Friday and Saturday for the ACCC Conference Crossover.
