Brewton police are asking for help from the public in locating a runaway juvenile.

Laura Burket, 16, of 105 Gordon Lane, was reported as a runaway by a guardian Thursday morning.

Capt. Randy Nicholson with the Brewton Police Department said the juvenile was reported to have left the home around 4 a.m. May 27.

“We are asking that if you have seen Laura Burket to please contact us,” Nicholson said. “At this point we have no leads in her whereabouts.”

Burket is described as a Samoan female, 5’6” and 130 pounds. Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to contact Brewton Police at 867-3212 or any law enforcement agency.
