A water leak will force a water shutoff Monday for some residents of Brewton.

The City of Brewton will cut off water between 8:30 and 9 a.m. at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Douglas Lane, east to Terry Drive and north to Baycliff subdivision and including Sowell Road.

The water shutoff will stop before it reaches Lynbrook, but city officials said it would possibly affect Marvin’s, Dirt Cheap and Burke’s Outlet, all stores in the old Winn Dixie parking lot.
