Brewton Babe Ruth wins district title

The 15-year-old Brewton Babe Ruth All-Stars claimed the district title Thursday night, beating Monroe County in two games.
In game one, Brewton used an eight-run sixth inning to defeat Monroe County 13-3. Hunter Mullins was 3-for-4 with two triples, a homerun and four RBIs. Dylan Godwin earned the win on the mound in relief of Cam Blackman.
In game two, Brewton won 19-8.
The 13-year-old All-Stars face Atmore Friday.
