Bobby “Hoot” Mason Gibson Sr.

Mr. Bobby “Hoot” Mason Gibson Sr., 67 of Spanish Fort, died Tuesday August 31, 2010 in a Mobile hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Brewton, and a former resident of Mobile, before moving to Spanish Fort. He was a member of Gulf Hills Baptist Church, a retired electrician, and he was employed at Spanish Fort Barber Shop.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Thomas Gibson of Spanish Fort; three sons, Bobby Gibson Jr., Jeffrey Gibson and Christopher Gibson, all of Mobile; two daughters, Angela Gibson of Kansas and Rebecca Lewis of Mobile; two step-children, Jason Sessions of Brewton, and Alesia Gibbs of Jay, Fla.; a brother, Leo Gibson of Brewton; three sisters, Eloise Dubose, Betty Haveard and Lucy Crawford, all of Brewton; seven grandchildren, Christina, Zachery, Adrianna, Maddox, Faith, Zachary and Anna; and one great-grandchlld, Issac.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Dubose and the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Elim Cemetery in the Roberts community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
