Escambia County Sheriff’s Department officials are asking for help from the public in an attempt to apprehend a couple suspected of committing forgery in at least two counties.

An investigation by officers is currently under way involving several check forgeries that have been reported in Escambia and Monroe counties. Officials say the forgery activity may have taken place in other surrounding counties in the area where the crimes have been reported.

Officials say the suspects have been seen driving an older model white Chevrolet Blazer or GMC Jimmy.
