The W.S. Neal Lady Eagle volleyball team posted a 1-2 record in the Escambia County tournament Saturday in Flomaton and placed third to drop their record to 7-15 overall.

The Lady Eagles lost to Flomaton 2-0 and T.R. Miller 2-0 while defeating Escambia County 2-0.

“The county tournament is always a tough one,” W.S. Neal Lady Eagle head coach Britney Shelly said. “We played hard at times but would make small mental mistakes that took us out of the game. We played great at the net against Flomaton but serving hurt us against both Flomaton and T.R. Miller. Like always, the county tournament is good preparation for the area tournament.”
