In the area tournament for the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles, W.S. Neal lost 3-1 to Jackson to end their season with a 7-16 record.

W.S. Neal, after winning game one 25-20, lost game two 25-16, game three 25-12, and game four 25-11.

“This is not how we wanted to end our season but the girls played really hard at times,” W.S. Neal Lady Eagle head coach Britney Shelly said. “Jackson picked our defense apart and as a team we could not adjust. I am proud of the effort the players put forth this season.

“The seniors on the team will be missed tremendously.”

Whitney Douglas led the Lady Eagles with 22 service points and Britta Wood added 17.

Brittany Revel added 13 points in the loss.
