W.S. Neal football falls to Saraland 27-20 Thursday

In a Thursday night football game and the last region game for the W.S. Neal Eagles, W.S. Neal lost to Saraland 27-20.
Saraland scored on a 33-yard pass play on third down and 30 with 2:13 left in game to lead 27-20.
W.S. Neal fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Spartans ran out the clock for the win by seven.
The Eagles dropped to 0-9 overall and 0-7 in region play with one game left against rival T.R. Miller next week in Brewton in the Battle of Murder Creek.
The region loss made it three straight years the Eagles have failed to win a region game.
