Brewton police are hoping the public can help identify two suspects in vehicle burglaries in the Walmart parking lot recently.
The suspects — two unidentified white males — were spotted looking through cars in the store’s parking lot on the night of Nov. 9. Police do not believe anything was taken from the vehicles. A camera inside Walmart captured the suspects as they entered the store.
Investigator Rodney Brand said residents need to remember to take extra precautions during the holiday season.
“Always park in a well-lighted area,” he said. “And remember to lock your vehicles.”
Police also advise shoppers to shop during daylight hours when possible; avoid wearing expensive jewelry; stay alert to your surroundings; and avoid carrying large amounts of cash. Always keep cash in your front pocket.
Anyone with information about the suspects should call Brewton police at 867-3212,
