Mr. Jerry Wayne Boatwright, 47, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Century, and attended the Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Boatwright of Pensacola; two daughters, Carrie Boatwright and Heather Boatwright, both of Pensacola; three grandchildren; three brothers, Billy (Diane) Boatwright and Charles Boatwright, both of Century, and Doug Boatwright of Pensacola; five sisters, Gloria Jean (Ray) Lawson and Sue (Charles) Walston, both of Century, Judy (David) Tillery and Margie Knowles, both of Atmore, and Kathy (Donald Edward) Walston of Pensacola; and a good friend, Rodney Grimes of Century.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Poplar Dell Cemetery with the Rev. Diane Everette officiating. Pallbearers were Billy Boatwright, Charles Boatwright, Jeremiah Walston, Michael Walston, Rodney Grimes and Doug Boatwright.
