Wild Game Supper set for Feb. 5

Brewton’s First Baptist Church will have its 20th annual Wild Game Supper Saturday, Feb. 5.

The meal will begin at 5 p.m. and the program is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s special guest will be Charles Lowery, a motivational speaker and humorist.

Tickets to the supper will be $5.

Also, the best wild game dish and big buck contest will be held.

Guests can prepare their favorite dish and bring it to the church by 4 p.m. on the Saturday of the supper. Prizes will be given for the best wild game dish.

For the big buck contest, there is no entry fee. Prizes will be given for the biggest buck killed with a bow and with a gun. Entries must be received by Wednesday, Feb. 2 and the deer must have been killed within the state of Alabama in the last three years.

Guests are asked to bring the mount to the church on or before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5.
