Lady Tigers beat Clarke County Saturday, B-team and varsity fall

In a rescheduled game from earlier in the season Saturday at Clarke County, the Lady Tigers came away with a win while the B-team and varsity Tigers lost.
The Lady Tigers defeated Clarke County 31-21 while the B-team Eagles lost 47-29 and the varsity Eagles lost 74-30.
With the win for the Lady Tigers, T.R. Miller improved to 17-4 overall and finished the area with a perfect 8-0 record.
The B-team Tigers dropped to 4-7 overall and the varsity Tigers fell to 5-13 overall with their sixth straight loss and finished area play with a 1-7 record.
T.R. Miller will finish their regular season Friday on the road at Hillcrest at 5 p.m.

CCHS 47, TRM B-team 29
The Tiger B-team lost to Clarke County by 18 points Saturday to see their record fall to 4-7.
The Tigers were outscored 12-5 in the first quarter and 13-4 in the second to trail 25-9 at the half.
T.R. Miller would cut the lead to 29-20 in the third quarter but Clarke County would outscore the Tigers 12-11 in the third to take a 37-20 lead into the fourth.
In the fourth, Clarke County edged out the Tigers 10-9 to get the 18-point win.
Dominique Jackson led T.R. Miller with 15 points and Aaron Yuhasz had eight. Kieon Smith chipped in four and Caden Lodge had two.

TRM Lady Tigers 31, CCHS 24
Trailing at the half, T.R. Miller held Clarke County scoreless in the third quarter to get a seven-point win, 31-24.
T.R. Miller led Clarke County 10-9 after the first but was outscored 13-4 in the second to trail 22-14 at the half.
In the third, the Lady Tigers outscored Clarke County 11-0 to claim a 25-22 lead heading into the fourth.
In the fourth, T.R. Miller edged out Clarke County 6-2 to get the win.
Leah Brundidge and Sha Kiser led T.R. Miller with 10 points and Courtney Jones had eight. Brittany Rush had three points in the win.

CCHS 74, TRM varsity 30
Clarke County’s 25 points in the first quarter were five short of T.R. Miller’s total points as they claimed a 44-point win over the Tigers Saturday.
Clarke County held a 25-12 lead after the first quarter and a 52-19 lead at the half following a 27-7 advantage in the second quarter.
In the third, the Bulldogs outscored T.R. Miller 13-3 to take a 65-12 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth, the Bulldogs ended the game on a 9-8 run to get the win.
Marc Edge led T.R. Miller with nine points and Jaquan Dewberry had eight. Darrion Salter chipped in six points and Kameron Winn, Antonio Payne, and Caleb Hubbard all had two points. Jerric Woods added one point in the loss.
