JDCC softball cancels Friday game; baseball cancels also

According to JDCC head softball coach Misti Nims, JDCC’s softball game for today (Friday) has been cancelled.
“We will reschedule this game on Friday, Feb 18, at noon and 2 p.m.

The next scheduled game for JDCC is for Friday, Feb 11. against Jones County CC.

With rain in the area Friday, Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk head baseball coach Darrell Blevins cancelled the game with Bevill State.
“Our game with Bevill is rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 6,” Blevins said. “Right now, (as of 10:30 a.m. Friday) we are scheduled for one nine inning game to start at noon. We may change to a double-header if we happen to cancel games with Lawson State (Saturday) because of weather.
JDCC lost at Northwest Florida State Wednesday, 10-0, to fall to 0-4-1.
Stats from that game were unavailable as of press time Friday.
