A sheriff’s report published in the Wednesday, Feb. 23, edition of The Brewton Standard included the wrong charge for Elbert J. Dixon Jr., 40, male, of Johnsonville Circle, Castleberry. Dixon was charged with failure to appear, not sexual abuse. We regret the error and are happy to set the record straight.
