The 2011 version of the T.R. Miller Tiger baseball team will take to the diamond Saturday, Feb. 26 to start their season.
The Tigers will start the season with a road game double header at Atmore (was at Montgomery Catholic) that Saturday with game times set for noon and 2 p.m.
The Tigers will play in the Escambia County Tournament in Atmore Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5 before playing their first home game Tuesday, March 8 against Flomaton.
The Tigers have 24 total games with 18 varsity games and six doubleheaders. Of the 18 games, seven are home and 11 are away.
The JV Tigers will have nine games with four being doubleheaders. Six of the nine games will be home and three away.
T.R. Miller, who went 18-6 in 2010 and lost in the first round of the playoffs, will be in an area with Excel, Washington County, Bayside Academy, and Clarke County.
T.R. Miller is under the direction of head coach Jim Hart.

W.S. Neal tennis:
The 2011 W.S. Neal Eagle tennis team will begin their season Monday, Feb. 28. The Eagles will play at Opp in their first matches of the season.
The spring schedule for the Eagles shows 10 games with five home and five away and three different teams.
W.S. Neal will play Opp two times, T.R. Miller four times, and Andalusia four times.
The two matches against Opp will be home and away for the Eagles while the four against Andalusia and T.R. Miller shows two home and two away.
All matches are set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
W.S. Neal will play in the regionals Tuesday, April 19, in Mobile at 8 a.m.
The Eagles will be under head coach Kevin Jordan.
