WSN softball falls at Jay

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagle softball team saw their record fall to 1-1 with a recent 6-1 loss at Jay.
Jay built a 3-0 lead after the first inning and added three more runs in the fifth and held W.S. Neal to the lone run in the third.
W.S. Neal left nine runners on base in the loss.
Kaitlin Hadaway pitched for W.S. Neal and took the loss allowing six runs, four earned, in six innings. Hadaway allowed four hits and walked three.
At the plate for W.S. Neal, Autumn Hinote was 1-for-3 with a double and Britta Wood was 1-for-3.
Heather Elliott was 2-for-3 and Jade Danley was 1-for-2.
