TRM baseball beat Flomaton, still undefeated

The T.R. Miller Tiger baseball team remained undefeated Tuesday on the road at Flomaton as they improved to 4-0 overall with a 5-4 win over the Hurricanes.
The Tigers claimed a 4-0 lead over the Hurricanes in the top of the third but saw that lead get cut to one, 4-3, after Jake Bonds hit a 3-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth.
With their lead at one run, T.R. Miller took a 5-3 lead with one run in the top of the seventh inning and held on for the win after Flomaton plated one run of their own in the bottom of the inning.
Ryan Hunt was 1-for-4 for T.R. Miller with one RBI and two runs scored. Conner Denton was 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI and one run scored and Kevin Davis was 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.
Jacob Fillmore was 1-for-2 for the Tigers and also had one RBI.
On the mound for T.R. Miller, Kevin Davis improved his record to 2-0 as he earned the win. Davis allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits, walked two and struck out 14.
Fillmore earned the save allowing one run, none earned, on one hit, and walked two.
