Mr. Willard Everett Welch, 80, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at a local care center after a brief illness. He was a native of Escambia County and a lifelong resident of Flomaton where he was involved in many local activities. He was of the Holiness faith and is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine T. Welch and his sister, Earnie Forte.
He is survived by one son, Johnny W. (Monica) Lambeth of East Brewton; one sister, Mary Frances Godwin of Century; and one grandson, Jeremy W. (Sandra) Lambeth of Flomaton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Flomaton Funeral Home chapel.
Funeral services will be held at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, March 11, at 10 a.m.with the Rev. Ronnie Fore officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Tommy Lambeth, Danny Ray Lambeth, Matt Lambeth, Mitch Lambeth and Tony Yuhasz. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Holt, Billy Byrd, James Roley, Gerald Cofield, Gerald McArthur and Frank Meriman.
