TRM tennis falls at Andalusia

Both the T.R. Miller boys and girls tennis teams dropped an away match Monday at Andalusia to see their records fall to 2-2.
The boys lost to Andalusia 8-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles to lose the match overall 11-1.
In girls action, the Lady Tigers lost in singles play 4-2 and dropped all three doubles matches to lose 7-2.

Boys:
Nick Dorso was the only Tiger to win in singles action as he took the No. 1 match 8-4.
Taylor Terry fell in No. 2 singles 8-0 and Michael Kast lost the No. 3 match 8-1. In the No. 4 slot, Patrick Weaver lost 8-3 and William Jones lost the No. 5 slot 8-5.
In No. 6 singles, Ed Hines fell by a score of 8-1.
In doubles for the Tigers, Dorso and Kast lost 8-2 and Jones and Terry lost 8-3. In No. 3 doubles, Weaver and Hines lost 8-3.

Girls:
In matches for the Lady Tigers, Deaundra Hetherington and Laura Burkett were the only winners in singles action.
Hetherington won her No. 3 match 9-7 while Burkett won 8-5.
Laferria Hetherington lost in the No. 1 slot 8-3 and Elizabeth Nelson fell in No. 2 singles 8-3.
Abbi Carlson lost the No. 5 singles 8-3 and Elizabeth Althauser fell 8-2 in the No. 6 slot.
In doubles, the Hetherington duo lost 8-2 and Nelson and Carlson lost 8-2. Althauser and Allie Adams fell in the No. 3 slot 8-0.
