WSN boys track places second at Northview

At Northview, the W.S. Neal boys track team placed second behind Pensacola Christian Academy. Other teams attending were Northview and Escambia County.
For the Eagles, the 4×800 team placed third and consisted of Eric Burgh, Donald Hardyman, Will Minchew, and Chris Crutchfield.
In the 110-meter high hurdles, Josiah Nettles placed first with a time of 17:22 and Marquese Banks placed third with a time of 18:08.
In the 100-meter, Nettles placed first with a time of 11.90 followed by Banks in fourth (12.47) and LaTrae Williams in fifth with a time of 12.47.
Donald Hardyman placed fifth for the Eagles in the 300 hurdles with a time of 55.15 and Gary Likely placed third in the 400-meters with a time of 59.47.
Nettles led W.S. Neal with a second place finish in the 200-meters with a time of 24.96 and Likely placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 36-11.
In the long jump, Likely placed third with a jump of 17-6 followed by Kenny Kiser in fourth with a jump of 17-2, and Williams with a jump of 16-11.
In the discus, Justin Tompkins placed fourth with a throw of 103 feet. In the shot put, Kenyan Nettles placed second (38-6) followed by Raheem Taylor (38-0) and Tompkins in fifth with a 36-9.
