Brewton area residents will have the rare opportunity to meet the authors of several books this weekend at the Brewton Public Library.
The event, Author’s Reading Reclamation, is being held as part of the Southern Normal Alumni Association’s annual Spring Fling event.
Featured authors will be Eric A. Calhoun, J.D., and A. Faye Boykin. The pair co-authored several books and will be on hand at the Brewton Public Library to meet the public and offer a reading. The couple co-wrote “Help A Sister Out/Help A Brother Out! Can We Possibly Meet in the Middle?” and travel together for speaking engagements.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. with the public invited to attend.
Organizers say the attire for the event should be upscale, all white casual.
