The 2011 East Brewton Cal Ripken League will have their 13th annual Jamboree Saturday, March 19.
The Jamboree will begin with an opening ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
T-ball, 7- and 8-year-old, softball, 9- and 10-year-old teams, and 11- and 12-year-old teams will take part in the Jamboree with a total of 16 teams playing this spring.
In the T-ball division, four teams will play including the Scrappers, Sand Gnats, River Dogs, and Rattlers.
In the 7-and 8-year-old division, four teams will play including the River Cats, Hot Rods, Thunder, and Lug Nuts. Three teams will play in the softball league including the Nationals, Blue Jays, and the Orioles. In the Jamboree Saturday, Flomaton will also play in this division.
In the 9-and 10 division, teams include the Yankees, Red Sox, and Marlins and in the 11-and 12 division, teams include the Phillies and Giants.
Just for Saturday, admission will be charged. Adults will be charged $3 while students in Kindergarten through 12th grade will be charged $2. Pre-school and under will be free. Wristbands will be purchased at the gate and must be work to be readmitted throughout the day.
No smoking or tobacco products will be allowed in the park along with no pets, skateboards or bikes along with no outside food or coolers.
The schedule for Saturday on field one will be the Phillies and Giants at 9 a.m., Yankees and Red Sox at 10:30 a.m., Marlins and Red Sox at 12:30 p.m., Giants and Phillies at 2 p.m. and Yankees and Marlins at 3:30 p.m.
On field two, the Nationals and Blue Jays will play at 9:15 a.m. and the Orioles and Flomaton at 10:30 a.m. Following an 11:45 a.m. lunch break, the Blue Jays and Nationals will play at 12:15 p.m. followed by the Flomaton and Orioles game at 1:30 p.m. and the River Cats and Hot Rods at 2:45 p.m.
On the Babe Ruth field, the River Cats and Thunder will play at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Scrappers and Sand Gnats at 10:45 a.m., Lug Nuts and Hot Rods at 11:30 a.m., River Dogs and Rattlers at 12:45 p.m., Lug Nuts and Thunder at 1:30 p.m., Sand Gnats and Rattlers at 2:45 p.m. and the Scrappers and River Dogs at 3:30 p.m.
Pictures will also be taken starting at 8 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in 15-minute intervals.
Starting at 8 a.m. will be the Phillies followed by the Giants, Nationals, Blue Jays, River Cats, Thunder, Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox, Scrappers, Sand Gnats, Lug Nuts, Hot Rods, Marlins, River Dogs, and Rattlers at 11:45 a.m.
