TRM softball falls at Flomaton

In a Tuesday road game at Flomaton the T.R. Miller varsity and JV teams came back to Brewton with losses.
The varsity Lady Tigers lost 11-9 to drop their overall record to 8-4 while the JV Lady Tigers lost 8-1 to fall to 9-6.

Flomaton 11, TRM 9
Leading 6-1 over Flomaton after the top of the fourth, the Lady Hurricanes scored nine runs with no outs to help propel them to an 11-9 win over T.R. Miller.
T.R. Miller led 3-1 after the first inning and 6-1 after the second. After neither team scored in the third and T.R. Miller failed to score in the fourth, Flomaton scored nine runs to take a 10-6 lead.
T.R. Miller would later get two in the sixth and one in the seventh while Flomaton added one more run of their own in the sixth to lose by two.
Miranda Smith took the loss on the mound for T.R. Miller pitching six innings allowing 10 hits, four walks and struck out one.
T.R. Miller made six errors in the game.
At the plate for the Lady Tigers, Taylor Guthrie was 4-for-4 with two doubles and Natalie Neal was 3-for-5 with a triple. Audrey Hamric was 1-for-5 and Leigh Margaret Bostic was 2-for-4. Kristen Booker was 1-for-4.

Flomaton 8, TRM JV 1
In the junior varsity softball game between the Lady Tigers and Flomaton, the Lady Tigers lost by seven, 8-1.
T.R. Miller was held to one run in the second inning while Flomaton scored two in the first, three in the second, two in the third, and one in the fourth.
The Lady Tigers were held to three hits with Moriah Brundidge going 2-for-2 with a double and Kassie King going 1-for-1.
Lizzy Pollitte pitched four innings allowing five hits, six walks and struck out two.
T.R. Miller made four errors in the loss.
