The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger softball team cruised to an area game doubleheader sweep at home Thursday against Bayside Academy.
The Lady Tigers won game one 17-1 and game two 19-0 to improve their overall record to 10-4.
In game one, Taylor Guthrie earned the win striking out one, walking one and surrendering one hit.
Natalie Neal was 4-for-4 with a homerun and five RBIs and Guthrie was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
Emily Waters was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Leigh Margaret Bostic was 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
In game two, Laurel Billy earned the win striking out three, allowing two hits and one walk.
Guthrie was 3-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs and Waters was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBIs. Leah Brundidge was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
