WSN baseball now 19-6

The W.S. Neal Eagle baseball team saw their record go to 19-6 Saturday and Monday as they went 2-1 in their recent three games.
The Eagles swept a tri-match doubleheader at Flomaton Saturday defeating the Hurricanes 8-5 in game one and Northview 6-4 in game two. With the sweep, W.S. Neal improved to 19-5.
Monday, the Eagles lost a heartbreaker at Jay 1-0 in eight innings to fall to 19-6.
No stats from the game Monday was known as of press time.
The Eagles will conclude their regular season on the road Monday, April 18 at Northview in a 5 p.m. game.
Friday, April 22, the Eagles will play host to UMS-Wright in the first round of the class 4A state playoffs.
A doubleheader will be played Friday and if the teams split, a third and final game will be played Saturday.
In the win over Flomaton Saturday, Keith Bradley got the win on the mound.
Bradley pitched five innings striking out three and allowing three hits and no earned runs.
At the plate for the Eagles, Christian Purvis was 2-for-3 along with Damian Williams. Logan Williamson was 3-for-5.
Against Northview, Dylan Godwin pitched a complete game striking out seven and allowing four hits and two earned runs.
Brian Settle was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Williamson was 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jeremy Myers and Bradley were both 1-for-1 in the win.
