East Brewton Cal Ripken starts back after spring break

In their first games since Spring Break Monday in East Brewton, the Flomaton Canes softball, East Brewton Jays softball, East Brewton Marlins and Giants all won their East Brewton Cal Ripken games.
The Canes of Flomaton defeated the East Brewton Nationals 15-6 while the Jays defeated Flomaton 12-11.
The East Brewton Marlins took a 10-6 win over the East Brewton Red Sox in 9-10 year old action while the East Brewton Giants edged out Flomaton 7-5 in the 11-12 division.
Flomaton Canes 15, EB Nationals 6
Despite only one hit in the game for both teams, Flomaton took a 15-6 win over the Nationals Monday in East Brewton.
For the Canes, Magen Engle was the pitcher and she allowed six runs, no hits, walked 11 and struck out six.
Avery Vickery had the lone hit of the game going 1-for-2 for Flomaton.
For the Nationals, Aleigh Lanier and Erin Salter pitched allowing a combined 15 runs, one hit, walked 16 and struck out one.
EB Jays 12, Flomaton 11
The East Brewton Jays upended the Canes of Flomaton 12-11 in another game that only saw one combined hit.
Shea Jackson got the lone hit of the game for the Jays as she went 1-for-1.
Abbie Sesssions and Catlyn Chavers pitched in the win allowing a combined 11 runs, no hits, walked 17 and struck out three.
For Flomaton, Desi Burnham and Morgan Miller pitched allowing 12 runs, one hit, walked 13 and struck out four.
Marlins 10, Red Sox 6
The Marlins of East Brewton earned a 10-6 win over the Red Sox Monday in league action.
Matt Thomas pitched for the Marlins allowing six runs, seven hits, walked five and struck out 11.
Ty Williams was 3-for-3 and Jacob Crane was 1-for-3 with a double. Sawyer Lewis was 1-for-2 and Caleb Kaylor was 1-for-1.
For the Red Sox, Tucker Davenport, Tyler Pierce and Marcus Dillard pitched allowing 10 runs, six hits, 10 walks and struck out eight.
Bradley Lowery was 2-for-3 and Morgan Riley was 1-for-3 with a triple. Mateo Smith was 1-for-2 with a double and Davenport was 1-for-1. Dillard and Christian Nelson were both 1-for-3 in the loss.
Giants 7, Flomaton 5
Despite being out hit 8-4 by Flomaton, the Giants picked up a 7-5 win.
Blake McGraw and Conner Husky pitched for the Giants and allowed five runs, eight hits, one walk and struck out 10.
Aaron Bosarge was 1-for-3 with an inside-the-park homerun. McGraw was 1-for-3 with a double and Huskey was 1-for-2 while TyShawn Davis was 1-for-1.
Kainoa Gumapac and Hayden Hammond pitched for Flomaton and allowed seven runs, four hits, five walks and struck out 12.
Hammond was 3-for-3 with two double and Gumapac was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Logan Hendricks, Brent Hollington and Dusty Reeves were all 1-for-3.
