With their first game set for Saturday at home in Century, the Escambia Spartan semi-pro football team learned of some late changes Tuesday night.
The team was informed late this Tuesday evening by the league that their first game scheduled for April 30 in Century has been changed, Spartan coach Raj Parmar said.
“The game will instead be played in Mississippi in D’Iberville,” Parmar said.
The following are other changes to the schedule as of Tuesday:
The May 7 game against the Louisiana Power will now be a bye week for the Spartans while the bye week of May 28 will be a home game with the Power.
The July 9 game will now be a road game at the Power in Louisiana.
All games are set for 7 p.m.
The changes to the schedule will be updated on the Escambia Spartan’s Facebook page and on the league website—www.thepsfl.com— soon.
