From the AHSAA

Several AHSAA member schools suffered massive damage and great losses from the devastating tornados that moved through Alabama on Wednesday, April 26, and many have expressed an interest in helping these schools recover.
The AHSAA has established the “AHSAA Tornado Relief Fund” to help these schools in need. The Fund will be managed under the jurisdiction of the AHSAA Central Board of Control. AHSAA Executive Director Steve Savarese urges member schools and others to send any contributions to:

Montgomery, AL 36124-2367
“Our schools have always been ready to step forward and help their neighbors when in need,” said Savarese. “We have several schools that have suffered great loss, not only to their schools but also in their communities where families are dealing with loss of life as well. We want to do whatever we can to help them overcome this catastrophic situation. We urge all of you to keep them in your prayers. I know our school family will step forward to help those in great need.”
Schools may also donate equipment, supplies, uniforms or other items by contacting the AHSAA (Ron Ingram) at 334-263-6994 or call 334-590-2232 (cell). These needs are urgent.
The AHSAA also encourages schools damaged from these storms to notify the state office of their most pressing needs.
