WSN softball area tournament to be held at Thomasville

It came down to the final day of the regular season for the W.S. Neal Lady Eagle softball team to find out where their area tournament will be played, but now they know.
The Lady Eagles will play in Thomasville in a one-day area tournament Tuesday.
The Lady Eagles are the No. 3 seed and will play No. 2 seed Jackson after Thomasville was declared area champion and will host the tournament.
W.S. Neal and Jackson will play at 10 a.m. Tuesday in game one. With a win, they will play at 2 p.m. and with a loss, they will play at noon.
The tournament is double elimination. The area champion and runner-up will advance to regionals in Gulf Shores.
