The Lady Eagles lost the conclusion of their game to Jackson Wednesday, ending their season at the area tournament in Thomasville.

The game, which had been called early because of rain Tuesday afternoon, resumed in the third inning. W.S. Neal lost 12-2 in five innings.

A win would have clinched a spot for the Lady Eagles in the regional tournament in Gulf Shores next week.
