Teams pick up wins in recent Cal Ripken games in East Brewton

In recent Cal Ripken baseball and softball games played in East Brewton, the Flomaton softball team, the East Brewton Giants, Yankees, Marlins, and Brewton Firebirds and Yankees picked up wins.
Flomaton’s softball team defeated the East Brewton Orioles 16-3 while the East Brewton Giants defeated the East Brewton Phillies 6-2.
The East Brewton Yankees picked up a 4-3 win over the Flomaton Canes while the East Brewton Marlins edged out the East Brewton Red Sox 11-9.
In girls softball, the Brewton Firebirds upended the Flomaton Canes 10-9 while Flomaton later defeated the East Brewton Nationals 14-8.
In 9-10 baseball Monday night, the East Brewton Yankees doubled up the East Brewton Marlins 12-6 while the Brewton Yankees cruised to a 15-3 win over the Giants of East Brewton.
Flomaton 16, EB Orioles 3
Kelsi Chandler and Rebekah Turner pitched a no-hitter for the Flomaton softball team as they defeated the East Brewton Orioles 16-3.
Chandler and Turner combined to allow three runs, no hits, walked seven and struck out 10.
Aleiha Emmons was 3-for-3 with a triple while Madilyn Kent was 1-for-2 with a double.
Turner, Chandler, Madison McFadden, Lizzie Nichols and Courtney Pridgen all had hits in the win for the Canes.
For the Orioles, Haleigh Dubose and Tori Wyatt pitched allowing 16 runs, nine hits, walked eight and struck out three in the loss.
EB Giants 6, EB Phillies 2
The East Brewton Giants picked up a win in their recent game with the Phillies, winning 6-2.
TyShawn Davis, Aaron Bosarge and Conner Huskey all pitched in the win allowing two runs, four hits, walked one and struck out six.
Derrick Barton was 2-for-2 with a homerun and Marcus Simmons and Steven Summerlin were both 1-for-3 with a double.
Huskey and Davis were both 1-for-3.
For the Phillies, Matt Hutchins and Joseph Booker pitched in the loss allowing six runs, six hits, walked three and struck out 13.
Cameron Taylor was 2-for-3 with a double and Booker and Hutchins were both 1-for-3.
EB Yankees 4, Flomaton Canes 3
In a game that had only one combined hit, the Yankees of East Brewton defeated Flomaton 4-3.
Jennings Hobbs pitched a no-hitter for East Brewton allowing three runs, no hits, five walks and struck out 11.
Hobbs also had the lone hit of the game going 1-for-2.
For Flomaton, Cole Brown pitched in the loss allowing four runs, one hit, walked seven and struck out six.
EB Marlins 11, EB Red Sox 9
The Marlins of East Brewton picked up an 11-9 win over the Red Sox Thursday in East Brewton.
Ty Williams and Matt Thomas pitched in the win for the Marlins allowing nine runs, four hits, walked eight and struck out nine.
Thomas was 1-for-3 with a triple and Sawyer Lewis was 1-for-2 with a double.
Dylan Ingram, Caleb Kaylor, Williams and Jacob Crane all had hits in the win.
For the Red Sox, Tyler Pierce and Morgan Riley pitched allowing 11 runs, six hits, walked eight and struck out five.
Marcus Dillard, Bradley Lowery, Tucker Davenport and Pierce all had hits in the loss.
Brewton Firebirds softball 10, Flomaton Canes 9
In a game with only three combined hits and 19 combined runs, the Firebirds of Brewton took down the Flomaton Canes 10-9.
Myra Reiss allowed nine runs, one hit, walked 13 and struck out four on the mound for the Firebirds.
Reiss and Kennedy Harp had the two hits in the win.
For Flomaton, Magan Engle pitched and had the only hit. Engle allowed 10 runs, two hits, walked 10 and struck out one in the loss.
Flomaton Canes softball 14, EB Nationals 8
Flomaton picked up a 14-8 win over the Nationals Monday in East Brewton.
Morgan Miller pitched for Flomaton and allowed eight runs, two hits, walked 14 and struck out three.
Ashton Presley was 1-for-3 with a double while Destiny Burnham, Gabby Patterson, Anna Knowles and Miller all had hits.
For the Nationals, Aleigh Lanier and Tatum Reeves pitched allowing 14 runs, seven hits, walked 11 and struck out one.
Mariah Kiser and Heather Redash had the only two hits for the Nationals.
EB Yankees 12, EB Marlins
The East Brewton Yankees picked up another win as they doubled up the Marlins 12-6.
Jacoby Hawthorne led the Yankees in the win going 3-for-3 with a single, triple and a grand slam.
Logan Brantley, Hobbs, and Dominique Beasley all had hits in the win.
Hawthorne and Hobbs pitched allowing six runs, three hits, five walks and struck out 11 in the win.
For the Marlins, Thomas, Ty Williams and Kaylor pitched allowing 12 runs, six hits, walked eight and struck out seven.
Sawyer Lewis was 1-for-2 with a double and Kaylor and Crane both had hits.
Brewton Yankees 15, EB Giants 3
In interleague play Monday in East Brewton, the Yankees of Brewton took down the Giants of East Brewton 15-3.
Joshua Winton pitched in the win allowing three runs, three hits, walked five and struck out four.
Jason Konsler was 1-for-2 with a double and Troy Lewis was 2-for-2 with a homerun. Winton was 1-for-3 with a double and Steven McCall had two hits in the win while Ty McFerrin had one.
For the Giants, Davis and Summerlin pitched in the loss allowing 15 runs, seven hits, walked seven and struck out two.
Simmons, Tyler Williams, and Geo Little all had hits in the loss for the Giants of East Brewton.
