East Brewton Cal Ripken season comes to an end

In the final Cal Ripken games of the season in East Brewton, the East Brewton Marlins, Yankees, Giants and Brewton Orioles all claimed wins.
The East Brewton Marlins defeated the Flomaton Rays 10-9 while the Yankees took down the Red Sox 13-7.
In a doubleheader for the Brewton Orioles Friday night in East Brewton, the Orioles defeated the East Brewton Phillies 8-7 in game one before losing to the East Brewton Giants 9-8 in the second game.

East Brewton Marlins 10, Flomaton Rays 9
In a game that only saw five combined hits, the Marlins of East Brewton took down the Flomaton Rays 10-9.
The Marlins had two hits in the win with both Jacob Crane and Dylan Ingram going 1-for-2.
For the Rays of Flomaton, Austin Majors was 2-for-3 with a double and Hunter White was 1-for-1.
Ingram, Sawyer Lewis and Matt Thomas all pitched in the win for the Marlins with the trio allowing nine runs, three hits, eight walks, and struck out five.
Majors pitched in the loss for the Rays allowing 10 runs on two hits, walked seven and struck out 10.

EB Yankees 13, EB Red Sox 7
In a 9-10 game between the Yankees and Red Sox, the Yankees held the Red Sox to two hits to claim a 13-7 win.
Kameron Cannon and Samuel Bosarge held the Red Sox to two hits in the game as they combined on the mound for the win. The duo allowed seven runs, two hits, five walks and struck out four.
Cannon was 2-for-2 and Jennings Hobbs and Logan Brantley were both 1-for-2. Caleb Sexton and Jacoby Hawthorne were both 1-for-1.
For the Red Sox, Tucker Davenport and Tyler Pierce pitched in the loss for the Red Sox allowing 13 runs, six hits, walked 11 and struck out six.
Samuel Wright and Bradley Lanier were both 1-for-2 at the plate.

Brewton Orioles 8, EB Phillies 7
In their first game of a doubleheader Friday in East Brewton, the Orioles homered their way to an 8-7 win over the Phillies.
Jordan Williams had one homerun for the Orioles while Hunter Brittain had two in the win. Williams went 2-for-3 and Brittain 2-for-2 in the win.
Andrew Etheridge was 1-for-3 and Russell Smith was 2-for-2 with two doubles.
Smith also earned the win on the mound allowing seven runs, nine hits, walked three and struck out 11.
For the Phillies, Weston Riddle pitched in the loss allowing eight runs, seven hits, walked three, and struck out seven.
At the plate, P.J. Williams was 2-for-3 and Cameron Taylor was 1-for-2.
Joseph Booker was 3-for-3 with a homerun and two doubles.
Eddie Taylor was 2-for-3 with a triple and Kristian Taylor was 1-for-3 with a triple.

EB Giants 9, Brewton Orioles 8
In the Orioles second game, the East Brewton Giants claimed a one-run win to win the 11-12 East Brewton division.
Conner Huskey took the win allowing eight runs on 12 hits, walked four and struck out 12.
Huskey was 1-for-2 at the plate and Derrick Barton was 2-for-2 with a double. Brandon Moye was 1-for-3 with a double and Marcus Simmons was 1-for-4.
Aaron Bosarge was 1-for-3 along with Tyler Williams who had a double.
For the Orioles, Brittain and Stokes Jennings pitched allowed nine runs, seven hits, walked six and struck out nine.
Williams was 2-for-4 with another homerun and Brittain was 3-for-3 with a double. Jennings was 4-for-4 and Joshua Gunter was 3-for-3.
