Firefighters and other emergency workers remained on the scene of a fire on Virginia Street in Brewton Wednesday evening. The fire, believed to have begun in the garage of one home, spread to a second home at the location.
Firefighters from Brewton, McCall Volunteer Fire Department and Dixonville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire reported shortly after 5 p.m. this afternoon.
Members of the L.E. Ross family were home at the time the blaze broke out. No information on whether or not members of the Eddie Nall family were at home when their home caught fire.
No injuries were reported in the blaze. An investigation into the cause of the blaze will be conducted by fire officials.
