A day after telling U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson they remained deadlocked on some charges in an ongoing trial over alleged vote-buying in the Legislature, jurors ended another day of deliberations.
They are expected to return at 9 a.m. to continue to discuss the case.
Jurors told Thompson Tuesday that they had arrived at verdicts in some of the charges but were deadlocked on others.
The federal cases alleges that nine people — lobbyists, gaming executives and lawmakers — either offered or took bribes to help pass a gambling bill last year.
