In JV action, T.R. Miller won 2-0 to start their season 1-0.
T.R. Miller’s varsity team will be back in action Monday at home in a tri-match with Andalusia and Greenville. Game time is set for 4 and 6 p.m.
Tuesday, the Lady Tigers will travel to Monroe County for a JV and varsity game at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
“We did a really good job serving the ball tonight,” T.R. Miller Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “We had several runs where we would score five or six in a row that would help our lead grow. The kids from Excel played hard and I’m sure they will get better before we see them later on in the season. Overall, I’m pleased with our effort tonight. We have some things that we need to improve on and I’m confident that we will over time.”
