BMS football beats Straughn

The Brewton Middle School football team picked up their first win of the 2011 season and their 14th straight win Thursday at Straughn as they won 30-6.
The last loss for the team was to W.S. Neal in 2008.
No individual stats were known but Tamerick Jenkins scored two touchdowns and Ahmad Taylor scored one for the Tigers. Markail Mitchell scored the last one.
Extra points were made by Taylor, Chardian Johnson, and Mitchell.
The Tigers 8-6 also won the seventh grade quarter, with Anteriod Drakeford scoring on a 46-yard run and a Caleb Winton pass to Joshua Winton was good for the extra point.
Brewton will take on W.S. Neal next week in Brewton at 6 p.m.
