Brewton Youth Football gets wins

The Brewton Youth Football teams went to Navarre Saturday and went 2-1.
The Brewton Mini Mites won 6-0 over the Raiders to improve to 2-0 this season while the Brewton Mites won 30-0 to also improve to 2-0.
The Midgets were the lone team to lose Saturday falling 30-0 to drop to 0-2.
In the Mites game against Navarre, Demonte Jenkins found Demarious Luckey for a 12-yard touchdown and Braidyn Jackson added a 25-yard touchdown to make the score 12-0 in favor of the Tigers.
In the second quarter, Devonta Bradley scored on a 27-yard run and Jenkins had a touchdown pass to Cody who scored from the 3-yard to make the score 25-0.
After a fumble recovery, Toby Jenkins had the final score of the game scoring from the 8-yard line.
The Tiger defense was shutdown by Tiger defensive duos Tavaous Smith and Hall, Kadarrius Jenkins, Luckey, Jamal Duggans and Jackson. Thaddeus Betts and Smith had solo tackles in the win.
Earlier this season, the Mites defeated Gulf Breeze 19-0.
On defense, Duggans, A.J. Walker, Aquarius Taylor, Hall and Jenkins held Gulf Breeze off the scoreboard. Gulf Breeze had only one first down.
For the Tigers on offense, Demonte Jenkins had 95 yards and a quarterback keeper for a 25-yard touchdown. Da’Quan Johnson added 58 yard rushing with a 45-yard touchdown. Toby Jenkins added an extra point to his 65 yard for the game and Bradley added 45 yard.
The final touchdown for the Tigers came on a Damarious Luckey run of 50 yards to put the game out of reach in favor of the Tigers, 19-0.
