Mr. Ricky William Fuqua, 39, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Pascagoula, Miss., before moving to Brewton in 2001. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fern and Mamie Fuqua and William and Gladys Blackmon.
He is survived by his parents, Richard W. Fuqua and Judy Blackmon Fuqua Wilder, both of Brewton; and aunts, Peggy Tolbert, Barbara (Ronald) Ashworth, Joe (Gladys) Fuqua and Jo (Rex) Butler.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. John Kemp and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
