Brewton Youth Football teams lose to Belleview

All three Brewton Youth Football teams lost their games Saturday at Belleview.
The Mini Mites lost 36-6 while the Mites lost 19-12. The Midgets dropped their game 30-0.
All three teams will play at home this week at Brewton Municipal Stadium against Milton Black. The mini mites will play at noon followed by the mites at 1:30 p.m. and the midgets at 3 p.m.
In the mini mites game, Darius Webb ran for a 12-yard first down before getting hurt and Exodeous McMillan had the lone touchdown as he ran for a 45-yard score.
Chaz Pierre and Jaxon Wolfe had tackles in the loss.
The Brewton Mites lost a well-fought game to Belleview Saturday 19-12. In the loss, Demonte Jenkins threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 50 yards on the ground.
Demarious Luckey scored first for Brewton with a 32-yard touchdown reception. Braidyn Jackson had the second touchdown for the Brewton Mites as he scored on a 40-yard touchdown run.
For the Tigers on defense, Jamal Duggins, Tavaous Smith, Cody Hall, Da’Quan Johnson and Toby Jenkins all had tackles. Jenkins had a fumble recovery in the third quarter.
