“I thought our effort was real good,” W.S. Neal Lady Eagle head coach Jeff Haney said. “The girls played hard. We were just inconsistent at times. Our ball control was good for a few minutes then it would just taper off. We were just up and down and Pleasant Home was just steady the whole time. They didn’t waver much. They are a good team. They are not wavering and we are and it just goes their way. It is just one of those things and they just seem to have our number this year. We will just have to try them again next year. We have some big games coming up. We have to go to Monroeville Tuesday and we owe them one after dropping the game here last time. We go to Miller Thursday so we have a busy week with some big games. We are looking forward to all that.”
