“We came out ready to play and didn’t mess around too much,” T.R. Miller Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “We felt like we had an advantage at the net so we made it a top priority to get the ball to our hitters and let them go to work. They really did a good job of hitting the ball hard and making Monroe County make some defensive errors. I also thought we served the ball extremely well tonight. We have got to stay consistent at that as the county tournament and area tournament approaches. We were also able to play a lot of girls tonight and that could help us out in the near future also.”

Evans had four points and Roberts and Terry had five kills each.
“Monroe County’s JV played very well,” White said. “We were down the entire second game but our girls just hung around and finally found a way to win the game in the end. This team has been very consistent all season. Tonight was their last match and they finished the season with a record of eight wins and one loss. This team has been a pleasure to coach. They have bought in to all of the things that we have tried to teach them. They are very unselfish and hard working. We look forward to coaching them over the next few years and look for great things to come from them.”
