Students at St. Stephen’s Preschool had an adventure Friday morning with a trip to the Brewton Fire Department.
Students took a tour of the fire station and visited with firefighters during their outing. During the tour, they were treated to an close up view of a fire truck and were even given the opportunity to use a fire hose.
The field trip was taken as part of the school’s lessons on fire safety and fire prevention.
National Fire Prevention Week will be observed Oct. 9-13 with activities and demonstrations plan by the Brewton Fire Department.
