TRM volleyball to play at area tourney Monday, WSN to play Tuesday

Both T.R. Miller and W.S. Neal volleyball teams will begin play at their area tournaments this week.
T.R. Miller will travel to Bayside Academy Monday to play in their tournament while W.S. Neal will travel to Monroe County Tuesday for their tournament.
T.R. Miller, the No. 2 seed, will take on No. 3 seed Clarke County at 5 p.m. today. With a win, the Lady Tigers will play the winner of the Bayside Academy against Excel/Washington County winner at 6 p.m. for the area championship. The tournament is single elimination.
The area winner and runner-up advance to the regionals. The winner will play area four’s runner-up at regionals while the runner-up will play the area four winner.
W.S. Neal will travel to Monroe County for their area tournament as the No. 2 seed. W.S. Neal will take on No. 3 seed Jackson at 4 p.m. Tuesday. A win will advance the Lady Eagles to the championship game against the Monroe County/Thomasville winner at 5 p.m.
The area winner and runner-up will advance to regionals against area three’s winner and runner-up.
