The East Brewton Tiny Mites (7-8 year old) were named the Tri-County West Division Champions Saturday after beating Greenville 14-13. This advanced them to the Super Bowl, which is being held in Greenville Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. They will be playing against the East Division Champions Andalusia Bulldogs. The Tiny Mites hold a record of 6-1.
Also, the East Brewton Pee Wees (11-12 year old) were name the Tri-County West Division Champions after beating the Evergreen Jaguars 7-0. This advanced them to the Super Bowl as well beginning at 2 p.m. They will also be playing against the East Division Champions Andalusia Bulldogs. The Pee Wees hold a record of 5-2. The EBYF Midgets (5-6) finished with a 4-1 record, but did not make the playoffs for this age group. The Termites (9-10 yr old) made it to the first round of playoffs and was eliminated. They finished with a record of 3-3.
