Habitat for Humanity volunteers will be back to work Saturday, trying to build a home for the holidays for a local family.
“After a break for Thanksgiving and a weekend when we had to pack up early because of the rain, we are ready to get back to work on the ‘Home for the Holidays’ for the Thompson family,” said Alecia Glaize, director of Escambia County Habitat for Humanity.
Volunteers will work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Volunteers are encouraged to pre-register at the Habitat Web site at www.escambiahfh.org, or by calling the office at 867-0095.
The construction site is located at 115 Mayo St. in East Brewton.
