TRM basketball to play in Jackson Christmas tournament

The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger and varsity Tiger basketball teams will compete in the DeMarquis Besteda Christmas Tournament at Jackson High School Dec. 26 and 27.
The Lady Tigers will join three other teams in the tournament while the varsity Tigers will be one of four teams in their part of the tournament.
The Lady Tigers will join Leroy, Southern Choctaw and Jackson in the two-day tournament while the varsity Tigers will play with Jackson, Southern Choctaw and Washington County.
The Lady Tigers will begin play in the tournament, Monday, Dec. 26 at 3 p.m. against Leroy while the varsity Tigers will play later in the day at 7:30 p.m. against the host Jackson Aggies.
In other action Monday, Southern Choctaw and Washington County’s boys will play at 4:30 p.m. while Southern Choctaw and Jackson’s girls will play at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, Dec. 27, the losers of the girls games Monday will play at 3 p.m. followed by the losers of the boys games from Monday at 4:30 p.m.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, girls winners from Monday will play followed by the Monday boys winners at 7:30 p.m.
T.R. Miller’s girls will be the home team in their game against Leroy Monday while the boys will be the visitors against Jackson.
