Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk head baseball coach Darrell Blevins has released the 2012 baseball schedule.
The schedule shows 33 games with 17 being home and 16 away. Of the 33 games, 22 games will be doubleheaders with 12 home doubleheaders scheduled and 10 away.
JDCC will begin their schedule Tuesday, Jan. 31 at home against Pensacola State College. The game will be a nine inning game and is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
JDCC will play against six conference teams—Faulkner State, Bishop State, Enterprise, LBW, Alabama Southern, and Wallace Dothan. The teams will play on three different occasions with the first game scheduled as a doubleheader followed by one nine inning game and then another doubleheader.
The 2012 roster for the Warhawks shows 24 players with 10 being sophomores and 14 freshmen. Of the 14 players, eight are from Alabama, 15 from Florida and one from Missouri.
