The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger JV softball team went 1-2 in the Thomasville JV tournament Saturday to drop their record to 4-3.

“Today wasn’t the best day for T.R. Miller softball,” Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “We never had any consistency in anything we did—hitting, pitching or defense. We just didn’t have it. We have to get more people to contribute for this team to be successful. We will use this tournament as a learning tool and get better from here.”
In game one against Sweet Water, T.R. Miller gave up all eight runs in the first inning before falling short in a rally.
Down by eight after the first inning, T.R. Miller scored four in the second inning and two in the third but lost by two.

Facing off against Sweet Water for the second time Saturday, T.R. Miller was eliminated from the tournament with a 4-2 loss.
